“Earl of Bedlam... The New Abnormal” printed in white ink on black cotton tee was commissioned especially for Allan Clayton to wear in the Royal Opera House production of “Frankenstein” that was broadcast by the Royal Opera House on October 2020 as part of their 4/4 programme.
It was directed by South Londoner Richard Jones who requested that his star singer be dressed by Earl of Bedlam. The Guardian newspaper wrote that his “gift for the thrilling, the gaudy and the wayward is one of the characteristics that marks Jones out.”
The graceful balletics of the Japanese script were translated for us by the supremely graceful Naoko Hoshino.
