"Mahout" waistcoat

The "Mahout" style of waistcoat comes from India and has the high Nehru collar and longer length. It has six little leather buttons down the front and two jetted pockets at the kidneys. Perfect for extra snuggliness around the nether regions.

The one illustrated is made from rugged Harris Tweed and lined in a Raj ruby red acetate but you may, as ever, choose your cloth and we shall cut it accordingly.

A Mahout is someone who works with elephants but frustratingly I can't find a photo of anyone on an elephant wearing one.
